Stylized/Figurative
The figurative series reimagines the body through digital transformation. Some works begin with photographs or sketches, then shift into layered compositions where faces, gestures, and forms are reshaped. or reshaped with images from other work. My goal is not always realism but the suggestion of presence, where human identity is altered, distorted, or redefined through computer-evolved techniques.
My figurative images are intended to be narratives, stylize inner realities, fragments of memory, experience, and emotion. Each work blends a combined form of two or more of these elements: digital compositions, photography, painting, and mixed media combined through digital refinement. to form Computer-Evolved Digital Compositions. Although narrative in nature, I have titled them with personal interpretation while attempting to bridge a bridge of historic art movements with the transformative concepts of the digital age. This is a limited sampling of my figurative work.
Images in my Figurative Series are printed on request and can reach up to 45 inches.
